NFL Draft Scouting Report
- Plays as a 4-3 end, although sometimes moves to nose tackle when OU go to a 3-man front, which perhaps indicates he might be capable of adding weight to become a 3-4 end
- Was not considered athletic enough to play as a 3-4 OLB, but excellent combine numbers may have changed that opinion
- Good height
- Hardworking, battles in the trenches and works along line well
- Decent against the run
- Chased QB out of pocket to force interceptions against both Texas Tech and Iowa State
- Did not have a sack in first ten games, but then had 2 against Baylor and also deflected a pass into the air and read and stuffed a shovel pass
- Added another sack against Oklahoma State with excellent hustle and also batted down a pass and made a key stop on the edge, but was unable to make stop at the goal-line on short TD run
